If you know about Jeannot's Patisserie and Bistro you know we have something really special here in Lafayette. Tucked into a cute corner in the shopping center on the southwest side of 95th and Arapahoe is one of our favorite spots. Whether you'd like pastries for Mother's day, a special cup of coffee and a croissant, or a cute and unique outting for out-of-towners, you cannot go wrong with Jeannot's.

Julien and Teresa Jeannot started the bakery a few years ago and we couldn't be happier- especially since we are within bike riding distance! If you check out their bios on their website, you will see Julien has worked and managed bakeries at premier restaurants all over the world and most recently, before starting their own place, was the executive pastry chef at the Med in Boulder. We love supporting local, family owned businesses and we love supporting Jeannot's!

Me, in my happy place A few of our favorites items on the menu include the Mortadella and Swiss Cheese Croissant (this is Ken's go to!) and I love their Quiche Lorraine. There are also to-die-for Chocolate Croissants, fruit tarts, and so much more. Jeannot's has a strong local following. Plan ahead and go early on Saturday and Sunday mornings and if you plan to order pastries for Mother's day (which I recommend!) prepare to stand in line for a bit. It's worth the wait!
